ITEX in Toronto, (http://www.creativebarter.ca/), a business to business barter currency network in Canada, has announced that ITEX in Toronto has acquired ITEX in Vancouver. This expanded partnership enables Vancouver businesses to now become an active part of the most exciting, dynamic and busiest of all the ITEX franchises worldwide. In the world of barter, the bigger the organization, the better it is for the business member. More member partner businesses means more potential customers for your goods and services, as well as more opportunities to trade for the important services and goods you desire and need.

ITEX, North Americas largest barter business, can now provide its services to businesses, large and small, throughout Canada. In addition, other ITEX businesses, no matter where they are located, can also access these two giant Canadian ITEX trade portals (with over 1500 different business members in Canada) in addition to purchase and market their own products and services. Every year, over $18 million CDN gets bartered in Canada alone.

We are very pleased and excited to be able to add the ITEX in Vancouver group of ITEX members to our existing roster of ITEX members in Toronto, Michael Muzzin, President of ITEX in Toronto said Tuesday. This acquisition creates an opportunity to streamline and bridge the Toronto and Vancouver markets while increasing trading opportunities.

"With the ownership in Canadian hands for the first time since 2008, the ITEX in Vancouver experience will improve because of our better understanding of the local and national market. This change will support, foster and help ITEX members grow their businesses using barter and our extensive set of tools for account holders."

One very interesting tool for Vancouver ITEX business members is the new ITEX mobile app which allows users to conduct transactions without CDN currency. This will generate increased activity and fuel new member growth.

How ITEX Works:

A business sells their services and products and receives ITEX dollars, a virtual currency in return. They use the ITEX dollars to buy a wide range of products and services. In addition to being effective for local & regional businesses, members can buy and sell with anyone on the ITEX network.
