Abu Dhabi developers look to Pakistan

An Abu Dhabi group will break new ground in December to begin work on a $1.4 billion real estate project in Lahore, Pakistan.
The Pal Group of Abu Dhabi has contracted to build the upmarket Time Square project, which will include 17 office and apartment towers, a five-star hotel and a shopping mall.
Pal will go into the project with joint-venture partner, Pakistan’s Defence Housing Authority.
The Defence Housing Authority, a property developer affiliated with that country’s armed forces, has developed similar affluent housing districts in Pakistan.
