Japanese oil firms in combined cut

Japan's top refiner, Nippon Oil has decided to cut oil production.
Both Nippon Oil and Nippon Mining Holdings will combine to cut crude refining capacity by 400,000 barrels per day.
The two firms have already announced they plan to merge, in an effort to deal with falling prices and slowing demand.
