Ford sends its SUV models to China
Ford has decided to make China a large market for its SUV cars.
The US automaker said it would accelerate the production of Ford SUVs in order to catch up with some of the European carmakers which already have a toe-hold in China.
With China now the biggest market in the world Ford plans to sell 15 new models in the country.
A roll out of the vehicles is expected to be complete by 2015.
Ford will introduce four new vehicles, the Focus ST, Explorer, EcoSport mini SUV and Kuga at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition next week.
